Anisha Bansda graduated from Stellenbosch University with her BSc. Physiotherapy degree in 2014. She has a keen interest in Orthopaedics, Sports Physiotherapy and Women’s’ Health. 

Anisha Bansda is a registered member of the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) and the SASP (South African Society of Physiotherapy).

She has undergone many post-graduate courses to qualify in Dry Needling, Acute and Chronic Pain Management, Spinal & Peripheral manipulation, Dynamic & K-taping techniques, Rigid strapping, Cervical, Thoracic & Lumbar Spine Pain, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction in Women and many more. Anisha has also assisted in Post-Graduate courses with the company Clinical Solutions to assist other qualified Physiotherapists with the latest researched manual techniques.

Anisha performs all Physiotherapy techniques and incorporates Electrotherapy modality treatments in her rooms such as Shockwave Therapy, Deep Oscillation, Ultrasound and Interferential treatments apart from all the normal Physiotherapy Manual techniques and Rehabilitation to increase the effectiveness of her treatments. 

Anisha’s interest in sports injuries grew during her studies when she volunteered to work as a Physiotherapist at the Cape Argus and Cape Epic Races. She was also the head Physiotherapist for the Raiders Rugby Club, Gold Cup 2018.

All Joint Mobilizations for Pain and Stiffness
  • Peripheral Mobilization of all joints include the Shoulders, Elbows, Wrists, Hips, Knees, and Ankles.
  • Spinal Mobilizations of vertebral bodies include the Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar vertebra. This presents a Neck and Lower Back Pain or Stiffness. 
  • Specific areas of Pain or Stiffness are treated according to the presenting condition.
Dry Needling
  • Dry Needling is the insertion of a dry needle into the muscle belly. 
  • This is the release of overactive fibres or trigger points within the muscle tissue. 
  • Dry Needling can be done for conditions presenting with pain or stiffness to reduce these symptoms. 
  • Other treatment modalities such as Electrotherapy, Deep Oscillation therapy, Myofascial Release, etc. can be used in combination with dry needling to relieve soft tissue inflammation associated with the specific injury/chronic pain condition.
